Thereâs something Iâve been sitting with lately, and I know Iâm not the only one feeling it.
We hear it all the timeâtake care of your health.
And most of the time, that means physical health. Eating better, moving your body, drinking water.
But what about your mental and emotional health?
Because the truth is⌠you can look âfineâ on the outside and still feel completely overwhelmed on the inside.
Lately, Iâve been tryingâreally tryingâto do better, be better, grow in my faith, take care of myselfâŚ
and somehow, it feels like the harder I try, the harder it gets.
Itâs like being pulled in a hundred different directions at once.
Some people might call it stress.
Some might call it life.
But if Iâm being honestâit feels deeper than that.
It feels like a spiritual battle.
And thatâs not always easy to explain, especially when not everyone around you understands what youâre going through.
You try to put it into words, but it comes out wrong⌠or not at all.
And then comes the isolation.
đ¤ When Growth Feels Heavy
Iâve walked through grief, loss, addiction, and depression.
And in a strange way, this seasonâbeing more clear-minded, more aware, more rooted in faithâhas its own kind of weight.
Because now you see things differently.
You feel things more deeply.
You recognize whatâs pulling you away from who youâre trying to become.
And choosing obedienceâchoosing to walk with Christ dailyâis not easy.
In fact, it might be one of the hardest things youâll ever do.
Not because itâs wrongâŚ
but because it requires surrender, discipline, and trustâeven when nothing feels stable.
đż The Check-In We All Need
So hereâs your reminder today, Grace Bloom Family:
Take care of your bodyâbut donât neglect your mind.
And donât forget your spirit in the process.
Check in with yourself honestly:
- How am I really doing mentally?
- What am I carrying that I havenât acknowledged?
- Have I taken time to be still and talk to God?
You donât have to have it all figured out.
You donât have to explain everything perfectly.
You just have to be willing to be honestâwith yourself and with God.
đ Youâre Not Alone
If youâve been feeling overwhelmed, pulled in different directions, or even a little lost in your faith journey⌠you are not alone.
Not in your struggles.
Not in your questions.
Not in your growth.
Sometimes the walk with Christ feels like a roller coasterâfull of highs, lows, and moments where youâre just holding on.
But even in that, there is purpose.
So I want to open this up to you:
Have you ever felt like this in your walk with Christ?
Has your journey of obedience felt like a roller coaster too?
Letâs talk about it.
This is a space where we growâtogether.
⨠Grace Bloom Family â where we grow through what we go through.
